How to Get Traffic from Facebook
With more than 200 million active users, facebook is a lethal way of driving traffic to your web site. Below I have listed a few ways to use facebook to your advantage.
1. Create a group. Make a group about your niche and post your link for everybody to see. Groups relating to current events and news stories work good too.
2. Send friend requests. There are groups where people want friend requests. Search these groups out and start sending friend requests. Do not overdo it as facebook can put a limit on your account.
3. Create apps. A killer application can get installed by lots of people. Imagine having your advertisements placed in an application on facebook that has 10,000 users…or even 100,000 users. You'll have to have some programming experience to do this.
4. Play Apps/Games. Some apps/games require you to build you ‘crews’ or ‘mobs’ so you can become more powerful in the game. This is an easy way to get friend requests as others will want you in their ‘crews’. Dragon Wars and Mafia Wars are just a couple examples (great games too!!).
5. Be Active. Update your profile on a regular basis, send happy birthdays to everybody, send pokes, flowers, etc., and most of all, keep sending friend requests.
